Our mission is to improve the lives of cats in our care and reduce the number of cats that end up in animal shelters by providing a safe, humane, and effective way to manage feral and free-roaming cat populations. We partner with local veterinarians and The Humane Society to provide cost-effective surgery to the cats, and we manage over 50 colonies across Bonita Springs.

In addition to our trap-neuter-return program, we also work to find temporary homes for cats that are suitable for adoption. Our team of dedicated foster volunteers provides loving care to these cats until we find them a permanent home. We believe that every cat deserves a chance to know the love of a human companion and protector, and we work tirelessly to make that a reality. Interested in becoming a foster? 

At Community Cats of Bonita Springs, FL, we also place a strong emphasis on education and outreach. We visit schools to teach children about our program and the importance of spaying and neutering to prevent cat overpopulation. We also work with the local government to fund the spay and neuter program and raise awareness about responsible pet ownership.
